Notably, Troop 929 is proud to have initiated the first girl's Troop in the Chesterton region of the LaSalle Council in the Scouts BSA program. In 2026, our troop became a family troop meaning we accept girls and boys. We meet and work together on activities, making us the perfect choice for families, or anyone who is enthusiastic about Scouting.
Join us at the American Legion Post 170, 798 Wabash St, Chesterton IN, 46304 on Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (except the second Tuesday of the month). Being a part of Scouts BSA is an excellent way to serve the community, support each other, and have a lot of fun in the process!
